About Gi
As the Founder of Be Mindful With Gi, and Graceful Awakenings, I am extremely passionate about my work as an integrative holistic life coach, and mindfulness teacher. My background as a licensed clinical mental health counselor (LCMHC), gives me a unique perspective on facilitating the understanding of the true meaning of mindfulness (hint….it’s NOT what you “think”) to overcome the daily chatter that often causes us overwhelm, anxiety and stress.
I am open, and honest about my own struggles with anxiety, and panic disorders, and how mindfulness has allowed me not only to help relieve the affects of those disorders in a natural, holistic way, but to also help so many others, meeting them exactly where they are.
Since 1995, I have had the privilege of helping thousands of people live better lives, and be more present through multiple modalities including meditation, hypnotherapy, reiki, and energy work. My students, and clients often comment that they leave a class feeling empowered and centered, creating more peace, calm, and time in their lives.
I hope I will have the opportunity to meet you as you travel through your journey toward well-being (by the way…there’s a class for that!). If I can help you in any way, please feel free to contact me, and I’ll be happy to respond.
[Gi showed me mindfulness is a way of being]… “the practice of being present in the moment for a certain allotted meditation time, and then techniques to be present in the moment throughout the day as well. I am generally a skeptical person that would not think something like this could work, but after hearing what she had to say, and the passion in her voice, I was convinced that this is just what I needed. I left that room feeling better than I had in over a year. I was filled with hope for the first time in a very long time.”
